Join The River’s Path & iRest-in-Nature for a week-long canoe/camping adventure through Labyrinth Canyon on the Green River in Utah. iRest-in-Nature is an experiential practice based in ancient practices from wisdom traditions such as yogic, shamanic, Earth-based practices as well as influences from Ecopsychology and cutting edge scientific findings.
The foundation of the practice is Yoga Nidra (iRest©) as taught by Richard Miller Ph.D. Yet, the stages have been expanded on to include imminent nature connection practices. This Body/Mind practice transforms our direct experience though shifts in perception with the application of awareness.
Although it is beneficial to have a cognitive understanding of our connection with all of life and the biosphere until we start to work directly with perceptions of our relationships our senses and perceptions our true nature remains remote, often elusive, and we experience the world as separate or distance at best and a threat at worst. iRest-in-Nature supports the relaxation and cleansing of perception as well as restoring our natural balance.
